Method:
This box is covered in a art paper from Thailand followed by stamping in a pale blue heat setting ink using the same stamp that is used for the Black PolyShrink elements. This gives you the image at full and size and also at the reduced (shrunk) size.Follow the manufacturer's instructions for heat setting the ink. After the ink on the box has been heat set apply a coat of Matte Spray sealer.
Using a PolyShrink Ruler , decide on the size to cut the Black PolyShrink so that it shrinks to be the right size to fit the box. Round the corners with scissors or a corner punch. Stamp in heat setting ink.The stamped impressions for this box were made using a individual Colorbox Crafter's Turquoise pad inked on the diagonal with Fresh Green to get the variegated tones.
Shrink the pieces, apply a coat of spray sealer, and adhere the pieces to the box with UTB or other glue.
For the finishing touch for your box, add little feet made of wood. A variety of wooden shapes are available at home and craft stores. Color them to match your box, apply a coat of sealer and adhere them to the bottom of the box.
